Note: metzalx is on a long hiatus due to impossible commitments with schoolwork.

My real name is Chia Yuan Lin (Chia is my surname). I'm ethnic Chinese, and my Chinese name is 谢苑琳 (xie yuanlin). When I'm feeling particularly Japanese, I prefer to read my name as Kanji. So that goes za ayarin.

Basically, I'm Singaporean (so I kinda speak more Singlish than English). I'm 20 as of 2011. I've just started walling and consider myself pretty much a noob at Photoshop and Illustrator, so I'm still learning, and when I do my walls I try to make the most of my current abilities (and hope my aesthetic eye doesn't fail me).

I am also INFP, according to Myers-Briggs. Gary Chapman says my languages of love are 30% words of affection, 30% acts of service, and 40%...the rest.

I also doodle in my free time, but I have huge problems with body proportion and clothing (especially clothing folds). So I can only do heads decently -_-

Haha yeah, I usually go for simple walls w/ lots of icon space, but once in a while I spazz out and go for the extreme opposite with patterns. Mawaru Penguindrum seemed like the perfect series to go a bit crazy with though - glad you liked the penguins wall! :D

I have to say it's really good. I set it on my desktop immediately and i stared at it for a good 5min fawning at his radiating coolness (omg the pose) and the beautiful painting you did. Seriously o_O

You're from Singapore?? Dude I am so craving chicken rice la, but it'll be a while before I can come over and see my relatives, I was over in June when Orchid Rd flooded lol poor Starbucks. I'm hoping I can come over in 2012 when they finish the the river safari!

Hey!!! It's pretty rare to see anyone online who says they've been to Singapore :D Where are you from? Chicken rice always seems to be the food that leaves the most lasting impression on visitors xD I kinda just had it everyday this week (it's one of the only decent food in my school) LOL.

Haha yeah I used to live in Singapore. Every time I go back I pretty much only eat chicken rice, nasi lemak and mangosteens xD They're really hard to find here in Australia. I make chicken rice and nasi lemak at home but its never the same as getting it from a Singapore food court ;___; Lol I nearly had a heart attack the other week, I found calamansi limes at the market, I've never seen them here, I bought kilos :D For my grass jelly of course <3333

Haha don't knock the school canteen, Singapore schools have much better food than Australian schools. Here you have a choice of sandwiches or a meat pie lol.

I'm seriously considering moving back after I finish Uni but I'll probly move back to Hong Kong seems I'm studying commerce and I really miss HK.

haha, the only reason i was able to make this wall was cause of your awesome render. Glad you liked it, and yeah when i normally use someone else's render i try to change the way it would normally be used, to make it more like i did something. Either way glad you liked it, and thanks for the awesome render :D
